SUMMARY:Conference "Renovated\, rebuilt\, saved - how they survived WWII"
DESCRIPTION:This conference at the Warsaw Rising Museum in Warsaw\, Poland on 12-13 April 2018 explores the challenges of the conservation and preservation of items from WWII. \nPreserving items from WWII is often a challenging and demanding task for conservators and curators. Conservation and preservation of such items requires modern technologies but at the same time retaining some historical damages as witnesses of the past. \nTwo day conference\, over 20 presentations in one of the best museums in Poland. We provide Polish-English and English-Polish translation to all participants. \nImportant dates and deadlines: \nFee should be paid until 28 February 2018\n12-13 April 2018: conference in the Warsaw Rising Museum\, Jan Nowak-Jeziorański Auditorium and Hall B \nFurther information and registration
