DESCRIPTION:A Cloud for All: the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage.\nOnline Veranstaltung  am 15.03.2023. \nThis event aims to kick-start the formation of a community of practice between cultural heritage professionals and demonstrate how the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage can be useful in their everyday work. \nThe European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage will be a one-of-a-kind digital infrastructure that will enable unparalleled transdisciplinary and large-scale collaboration between cultural heritage professionals across the EU through cutting-edge digital tools. \nWith an envisaged budget of €110 million until 2025 from Horizon Europe dedicated to support its development and establishment\, the Cloud will foster cooperation and co-creation among cultural\, creative and technology sectors and will help safeguard European cultural treasures through a digital infrastructure. \nCommissioner Mariya Gabriel addressed the need for Europe’s rich cultural heritage to enter a new digital dimension at the launch event of the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage\, stressing how this project can make European cultural heritage a world leader in deploying digital technologies to create value to the benefits of all citizens. \nAll professionals in the field of Cultural Heritage who wish to be involved in this effort are invited to participate the event. Engage on 15 March in the discussion on how EU research and innovation can help Cultural Heritage organisations become successful players in the digital realm! \nParticipants will be able to join this event online through the registration system on this platform. SUMMARY:Vortrag: Suffizienz im Bestand – Langfristige Inwerthaltung gegen die Ressourcenkrise
DESCRIPTION:Ein neuer Vortrag im Rahmen des Forschungs-Mitwochs an der Hochschule der Künste Bern beschäftig sich am 15.03.2023\, 17 Uhr mit der langfristigen Inwerthaltung gegen die Ressourcenkrise. \n\n\n\n\nIn der Ressourcenkrise sind Forderungen nach Effizienz (beispielsweise beim Energieeinsatz)\, Konsistenz (z.B. durch zirkuläre Stoffkreisläufe) weitgehend unbestritten. Anders verhält es sich mit der dritten\, womöglich aber relevantesten Strategie des nachhaltigen Umgangs mit Ressourcen\, derjenigen der Suffizienz. Denn die damit verbundene Genügsamkeit stellt noch grundlegender die Konsum- und Wachstumsgesellschaften in Frage. \nDas Bauwesen gehört nachweislich zu den ressourcenintensivsten Wirtschaftszweigen. Der Vortrag geht der Frage nach\, was schon heute im Umgang mit Bestandsbauten von etablierten und bewährten Vorgehensweisen der Denkmalpflege zu lernen wäre und welche Rolle ein suffizientes Streben nach Langfristigkeit dabei spielen müsste. \nZoom-Link
