DESCRIPTION:CALL FOR ABSTRACTS \nThe Institute of Conservator-Restorers in Ireland ICRI’s 2024 conference\, Conservation: Approaches to Sustainability\, will be held on Thursday\, 10th October 2024\, at Cultra Manor | National Museums NI. \nThe conference aims to explore and discuss approaches to sustainability in conservation\, both within Ireland and on a global scale. It seeks to foster networking and knowledge exchange among practitioners\, stakeholders\, students\, and academics\, providing a platform for collaborative discussion on approaches to sustainability\, including sustainable working practices\, challenges in sustaining the profession\, and adapting to digital technologies to ensure the safeguarding of cultural heritage. \nThe committee is now accepting abstracts and welcomes proposals for both oral presentations (30 or 15 minutes) and poster presentations. \nFor more information and to submit your abstract\, please click here.
