Color knowledge in painting“\, Sammlung Farbenlehre\, office building Zellescher Weg (BZW)\, entrance A\, ground floor room A006\, Zellescher Weg 17\, 01069 Dresden \nThe 15th Dresden Color Forum deals with the relevance of color compositional knowledge in painting and image restoration from both a historical and contemporary perspective and also examines its role today in fine arts degree programs. The international conference will shed light on the significance of color composition knowledge in painting and picture restoration – from both a historical and a contemporary perspective. Prof. Ralf Weber\, Thomas Kanthak\, Stefan Ostendorf from the TU Dresden and Prof. Christoph Herm from the HfBK Dresden are responsible for the concept and organization.\nThe Color Forum is an international conference dedicated to annually changing topics related to color\, art and science and invites stakeholders to Dresden to exchange ideas. \nMore information \n

DESCRIPTION:Zum Abschluss der Restaurierungsarbeiten an den Gemälden der Hauptkirche St. Petri laden wir herzlich ein zum Gespräch mit Restauratorin Bettina Heine\, Hauptpastor Stefan Holtmann und Kunsthistorikerin Fridericke Conrad – direkt vor dem Gemälde „Das letzte Abendmahl“ von Gilles Coignet (1595). \nAm 04.07.2025 um 18 Uhr in der Hauptkirche St. Jacobi in Hamburg \nDer Eintritt ist frei\, aber die Plätze sind begrenzt.
