During the last quarter of a century preventive conservation has developed greatly, moving to the centre stage of museum, site and heritage management. This year’s 26th Biennial Congress of the international institute for conservation of historic and artistic works (IIC) takes place in Turin from September 10-14, 2018 is set to attract the best minds in conservation from around the world. Hundreds of people coming together to generate discussion and explore the biggest issues that exercise our field.
