Triennially, Conservators – Restorers  Associated of Catalonia (CRAC) organizes a Technical Conservation-Restoration Meeting. This year’s edition is the seventeenth, titled „The Evolution of Specializations in Conservation-Restoration: New Challenges and Professional Profiles.“ It will take place on November 23rd and 24th, 2023, in both in-person in Barcelona and virtual formats.

The central theme revolves around how conservation-restoration currently deals with an increasingly unusual and diverse heritage. The profession faces new challenges, such as recent typologies and materials, which require all professionals working in cultural heritage to adopt new methodologies supported by scientific research and technological advancements.
